Objects are what is affected by the action of the subject.
- I like orange juice. (I is the subject).
- I read books. (Books is the object as it is receiving the action).

Object pronouns are used instead of nouns, usually because we already know what the object is. It makes the sentenceeasier to read and understand and avoids repetition. We normally use object pronouns after a verb or a preposition.

6. I explain the lesson to you every day? (Les explico la lección todos los días)
7. We will divide the money between us. (Dividiremos el dinero entre nosotros)
8. She sent me a lot of presents. (Ella me envió muchos regalos)

Possessive adjectives
¿What are possessive adjectives?
Possessive adjectives - my, your, his, her, its, our, your, their - modify the noun following it in order to show possession.
Examples:
- I'll get my bag.
- Is this your luggage?
Possessive adjectives are often confused with possessive pronouns.
Examples
- Your bike is blue. (your is an adjective which modifies bike)
- Mine is yellow. (mine is a pronoun which functions as the subject of the verb is)
